Learning

"A failure in life is one who lives and fails to learn."

- McKenzie

TOPIC OF THE DAY

Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell (March 3, 1847 – August 2, 1922) was a scientist, inventor, and innovator. Born and brought up in Scotland, he emigrated to Canada in 1870, and the following year, to the United States.

Bell is widely acclaimed for developing and patenting the telephone (at the same time but independently from Elisha Gray, and with prior efforts from Antonio Meucci and Philipp Reis). In addition to Bell's work in telecommunications, he was responsible for important advances in aviation and hydrofoil technology.
