Karol Adamiecki

Karol Adamiecki (b. March 18, 1866 in Dąbrowa Górnicza - May 16, 1933 in Warsaw, Poland) was a Polish economist, engineer and management researcher. Professor of Politechnika Warszawska. Founder and first director (1925-1933) of Instytut Naukowej Organizacji in Warsaw. Vicepresident of European Association of Scientific Management (Polish: Europejskie Stowarzyszenie Naukowego Zarządzania).Karol Adamiecki was one of the most famous management researchers in Central and Eastern Europe in his times. he began his research in the Institute of Technology in St. Petersburg, Russia (1884 - 1890), then moved to Poland.
