Clinton Davisson

Clinton Joseph Davisson (22 October 1881 – 1 February 1958), was an American physicist and Nobel Prize in Physics laureate for his discovery of electron diffraction. Davisson shared the 1937 Nobel Prize with George Paget Thomson, who independently discovered electron diffraction at about the same time as Davisson.
