Archiving PP-BOMs (PP-BD-BOM)

Definition: Archiving object CS_BOM for archiving of BOMs in component Production Planning and Control (PP).

Use: You can set a deletion flag for BOMs that you no longer require on the Header Data screen. After the archiving run, you can delete the archived BOMs. BOMs are archived by the archiving object CS_BOM and deleted. The BOMs can be identified by the following data:

• BOM category (for example, material BOM)
• Use (for example, production)
• Plant (such as 0001)
• BOM number
• Alternative BOM
