Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar

Padma Vibhushan Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, FRS (Tamil: சுப்பிரமணியன் சந்திரசேகர்), English: /ˌtʃʌndrəˈʃeɪkɑr/)[2] (October 19, 1910 – August 21, 1995)[3] was a Indian born American astrophysicist. He was a Nobel laureate in physics along with William Alfred Fowler for their work in the theoretical structure and evolution of stars.[1] He was the nephew of Indian Nobel Laureate Sir C. V. Raman.
