Vināyak Dāmodar Sāvarkar (Marathi: विनायक दामोदर सावरकर) (May 28, 1883 – February 26, 1966) was an Indian politician and an Indian Independence Movement activist, who is credited with developing the Hindu nationalist political ideology Hindutva. Commonly addressed as Veer Savarkar (वीर सावरकर, Brave Savarkar), he is considered to be the central icon of modern Hindu nationalist political parties. His last years were clouded with accusations of involvement in Mahatma Gandhi's assassination.

Jawaharlal Nehru (Hindi: जवाहरलाल नेहरू, 14 November 1889–27 May 1964) was the first and longest-serving prime minister of independent India, serving from 1947 to 1964. A leading figure in the Indian independence movement, Nehru was elected by the Congress party to assume office as independent India's first Prime Minister, and later when the Congress won India's first general election in 1952. As one of the founders of the Non-aligned Movement he was also an important figure in the international politics of the post-war era. He is also referred to as Pandit Nehru ("pandit," Sanskrit, "scholar", as honorific) and in India, as Panditji .

He is a grandson of Late Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who is a legendary actor, statesman, and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.[1] He is the son of Sri. Nandamuri Harikrishna (NTR's son) and Smt. Shalini. He is fondly called as Tarak by his family, friends and close associates. Nandamuri's family didn't accept him as part of their family until his success in movies. Later, he changed his name to Taraka Rama Rao in honor of his grandfather. Many cine and political analysts believe that he is the next big star from the Nandamuri family.

Ruskin Bond

Ruskin Bond (Hindi: रस्किन बोंड, born 19 May 1934) is an Indian author of British descent.[1] He was born in Kasauli (Himachal Pradesh). His father was Aubrey Alexander Bond who served in the RAF during World War II. He had one sister and brother - Ellen and William. When the writer was 8, his mother separated from his father and married a Punjabi-Hindu Mr.Hari who himself was married once. At the age of ten Ruskin went to his grandmother's in Dehra because of his fathers sudden death due to frequent bouts of malaria and jaundice. He has lived in Landour since the 1960s, having previously also lived, as a child and young man, in Shimla, Jamnagar, Mussoorie, Dehradun, and London. Most of his writings show a strong influence from the social life in the hill stations at the foothills of the Himalayas, where he spent his childhood.

Tyāgarāja

Tyāgarāja (Telugu : త్యాగరాజ, Tamil: தியாகராஜா; May 4, 1767 - January 6, 1847) (also commonly transcribed as Thyagaraja) was a composer of Carnatic music, who along with his contemporaries Muttusvami Dikshitar and Syama Sastri forms the Trinity of Carnatic music composers. He was a prolific artist and highly influential in the development of the South Indian classical music tradition. Tyagaraja composed hundreds of devotional songs, most of them in praise of the Hindu god Rama. His compositions are very popular even today. Five of his compositions called the 'five gems' (Pancharatna Krithis), are often sung in programs in honour of Tyagaraja.
